Please join us at Cardiology 2009, to be held at the Kerry Packer Education Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Camperdown, on Friday, 20 March 2009. Cardiology 2009 is the Fourth Scientific Meeting of the Department of Cardiology, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney.
David Richmond has recently retired from Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and accordingly, this year, the conference will celebrate and honour his exceptional contributions and accomplishments achieved throughout his distinguished career at Royal Prince Alfred.
Our international guest speaker Barry Maron, from the Minneapolis Heart Institute, USA, will present his work on Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, together with our outstanding Australian Faculty, Phil Aylward, Paul Bannon, Phillip Barter, Ben Freedman, Robert Graham and Martin Ng, and we thank them all for their generous support and contributions.
Once again this year, a highlight of the conference will be the Advanced Trainees Breakfast Session to be held on Friday morning, 20 March. This case-based session is entitled "Decision making in valve disease", and we encourage all Trainees to register and attend.
We are pleased to confirm that the Cardiology 2009 Conference Dinner in honour of David Richmond will be held at Government House, Sydney, and our special guest speaker will be Her Excellency The Governor of NSW Professor Marie Bashir, AC CVO.
All physicians and trainees (and partners) are invited to attend the Cardiology 2009 Dinner, and tickets can be purchased at the time of registration for the conference via the registration form enclosed. Please note, places are strictly limited and we recommend that you confirm your attendance as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
